One book, many stories. "Book Circulation: Pass It On!" is an initiative that gives books a second life, encouraging people to share literature instead of letting books collect dust on shelves. It is also a practical example of the circular economy, where instead of discarding, we pass items on, reducing waste and unnecessary production.
Libraries will be involved in organizing book exchange points, making it easy for participants to bring books they no longer need and take home new titles that interest them. This is a great opportunity to discover new books and refresh a home library without the need to buy new copies.
Why participate?
• Extend the life of books – reduce paper waste and unnecessary consumption.
• Save money – get new reading material without spending a penny.
• Support sustainability – help reduce paper production emissions and save natural resources.
• Encourage sharing – promote a culture of responsible consumption.
By participating in Book Circulation, attendees actively contribute to reducing the demand for new paper production, which is linked to deforestation, energy use, and carbon emissions. Keeping books in circulation means fewer waste materials and less strain on natural resources.
This event is open to everyone—whether you're a book lover, an occasional reader, or someone who simply wants to give their books a second chance.
Bring a book, take a book, and pass it on!

Can ideas change the world? Can words lead to action? "Blue Sky 2025" is an exceptional debating tournament where high school students will engage in intellectual duels on the future of our planet. This competition is not just about rhetoric and persuasion but also about developing a deep understanding of climate issues, circular economy, and policies that shape the air we breathe.
Debate as a Tool for Change
Participants in "Blue Sky 2025" will have the opportunity to debate complex environmental issues, from pollution reduction strategies to the role of circular economy in global sustainability. The tournament follows the Oxford-style debate format, where teams of four take opposing sides on a given motion, with each speaker fulfilling a specific role: introducing the motion, presenting arguments, countering the opposition, and summarizing the debate.
Each debate will be a battle of knowledge, strategy, and eloquence. Participants will not only defend their stance but also respond to unexpected counterarguments from the opposing team. The ad vocem mechanism will allow for quick rebuttals, keeping the discussion dynamic and engaging.
How the Tournament Works
The tournament consists of two stages. In the first stage, teams will compete in a group format, ensuring that every team has the opportunity to participate in multiple debates. The best teams will then advance to the final debate of this stage. The second stage will determine the ultimate winner, with the top teams engaging in knockout rounds leading to the Grand Final.
The motions for the debates will revolve around key environmental challenges, including air pollution, emission reductions, and sustainable urban development. Participants will need to think critically, construct logical arguments, and respond persuasively to opposing viewpoints.
Why Participate?
✅ Develop critical thinking and argumentation skills.
✅ Gain a deeper understanding of climate and environmental policies.
✅ Debate real-world challenges and propose solutions.
✅ Engage with like-minded young people passionate about the future of the planet.
✅ Experience a prestigious academic competition that sharpens public speaking and teamwork skills.
"Blue Sky 2025" is more than a competition—it is a platform for young leaders to voice their opinions, refine their perspectives, and become ambassadors of change. Through debate, we shape the future, one argument at a time.
