Tree Day in Bytom

On October 10th, as is the tradition every year, Bytom celebrated Tree Day. This year, the municipal eco-manager organized the planting of exceptional trees.

The ground received trees with unique qualities, featuring colorful, decorative bark, interesting shapes, fragrant flowers and leaves, multicolored foliage, ornamental branches, autumnal coloring, and importantly, they are trees beneficial for both animals and humans, with horticultural therapeutic qualities.

Children and the teaching staff from Municipal Preschool No. 58 on Nowa Street 66 in Bytom bravely assisted in tree planting. The children prepared a beautiful artistic presentation about trees.

During the event, Japanese Judas Trees (Cercidiphyllum japonicum), Southern Magnolias (Magnolia grandiflora), American Tulip Trees (Liriodendron tulipifera), and Common Rowans with the 'Coral Pink' variety (Sorbus aucuparia "Coral Pink") were planted.

The event was organized under the patronage of the Mayor of the City of Bytom.
