Training in the Kroczyce Municipality on compliance with the anti-smog resolution

The hotspot research team in Kroczyce.

The Institute of Fuel and Energy Technology conducted training for employees of the Kroczyce Municipality Office on compliance with the anti-smog resolution.

During the training, employees had the opportunity to learn what are the main causes of smog and what are the ways to reduce it. They were also presented with modern technologies that allow to measure air quality in real time and to control the level of pollution on an ongoing basis.

Thanks to this training, the employees gained the necessary tools and knowledge that will allow them to act effectively in the fight against the problem of smog. One of the most interesting elements of the Institute's visit to the Kroczyce municipality was a drone demonstration. This device was equipped with specialized sensors that enabled accurate measurements of air quality in various points of the municipality.

Thanks to this solution, the inhabitants of the Kroczyce can learn the exact parameters of air quality in their area and be informed about their health and safety. The initiative The Institute of Fuel and Energy Technology is very important in the context of combating air pollution. Smog is a problem that affects an increasing number of towns and cities, and its consequences are very serious for the health of the residents.

Therefore, such trainings and technological demonstrations are not only a curiosity, but above all a practical tool that can help solve the problem of poor air quality. Thanks to the training, employees have gained knowledge and skills that will allow them to act effectively in the fight against air pollution. On the other hand, a demonstration using a drone showed that thanks to modern technologies it is possible to effectively control air quality and act for environmental protection.

Further trainings are planned in the Municipality of Kroczyce and other communes of the Silesian Voivodeship. The training was held as part of the project “Silesia. Blue sky restored".
