The Tarnogórski EcoWeek with the Śląscy Family.
The "Tarnogórski EcoWeek with the Śląscy Family" is behind us, and it's time for a summary. During the week, seven theatrical performances for children and youth were organized. The artists visited three kindergartens (No. 17, 20, and 24), three primary schools (No. 8, 13, and 15), and performed at the Tarnogórski Center of Culture for children from five downtown kindergartens (No. 1, 2, 4, 6, and 11) and two primary schools (No. 3 and 9).
During the performances, the actors amusingly presented ecological issues to the audience, emphasizing the importance of taking care of the natural environment and our planet, how to segregate waste, and prevent smog. In the play "The Tree of Life," preschoolers helped Emilia the newspaper and Ryśek the dog get rid of the monster "Gałgan," and in the performance aimed at young people, "EcoDetectives: The Mystery of the Polluted City," the youth supported the detectives Albina and Albert in finding the causes of city pollution.
The presented performances will help children and young people understand the consequences of pollution and that each person can contribute to environmental protection through simple daily choices. About 2,000 children and young people from Tarnowskie Góry participated in the artistic events of the "Tarnogórski EcoWeek with the Śląscy Family."
