Tarnowskie Góry City Hall's Birthday
On September 23, 2023, on the occasion of the recent 125th birthday of the Tarnowskie Góry City Hall, an Open Day at the Municipal Office was organized. Residents of Tarnowskie Góry had the opportunity to explore the nooks and crannies of the City Hall and the Office on Sienkiewicza Street, visit an office from the seventies, a small photo exhibition, mayors' attire, old newspapers, the attic, the clock mechanism, and an exhibition on the history of the City Hall designed by Herman Guth on the Market Square. They were also treated to circulation cards, awards, and activities for children, including tattoos and face painting.
As part of the municipal eco-manager's consultation hours, residents could obtain information on the importance of ecological matters in human life, deepen their knowledge of the "Silesia. Blue Sky Restored" LIFE program, and the opportunities for obtaining grants for eco-related initiatives, including programs such as "Clean Air," "My Electricity 5," "My Heat," and "My Water."
