"Silesia. Blue Sky Restored" at the Żarnowiec Days

During this year's Żarnowiec Days, held on July 28, 2024, the ecological booth stood out. This unique place became the central educational point, attracting numerous residents and guests interested in environmental protection.

The ecological booth, organized by eco-manager Iwona Gębka as part of the LIFE Project "Śląskie. Bringing Back the Blue," offered a wide range of information and advice. The main topics covered ecological practices and available funding programs.

The eco-manager provided individual consultations at the booth, helping residents understand how they could incorporate ecological practices into their daily lives. Many visitors took advantage of the opportunity to get detailed information about grants.

Special attractions were prepared for the youngest participants. Children could participate in ecological workshops, solving crosswords, quizzes, and filling in coloring pages related to environmental protection. Everyone interested in learning about various forms of funding received small gifts and gadgets promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle.

The eco-manager’s booth at the Żarnowiec Days 2024 turned out to be not only a source of knowledge but also an inspiration for action towards environmental protection.

Żarnowiec Days was also an official Partner Event of the European Union's Green Week.
