Picnic to Celebrate the 101st Anniversary of the City of Zabrze
It was a special celebration of the 101st anniversary of the City of Zabrze! And, as befits a centenarian, the events organized as part of the celebrations had a special atmosphere and garnered immense interest from the residents of Zabrze, who actively participated in them. The traditional Colorful Parade was not missing, making its way through the streets of Zabrze to reach the City Park on Dubiela Street, where many attractions awaited. As part of the annual "Skarbnik's Feasts," the stage featured performances by both the youngest artists and stars of our domestic entertainment scene.
On September 30, 2023, in the City Park, a full-day family picnic, the traditional "Skarbnik's Feasts," took place. The program also included an educational booth with the municipal eco-manager. At the booth, attendees could receive advice regarding funding sources for replacing outdated heating systems, building thermomodernization, and regulations arising from anti-smog resolutions. The eco-manager also conducted a mini-quiz aimed at raising awareness among Zabrze residents about the importance of environmental care. She explained concepts such as recycling and waste segregation and their impact on air quality to the participants.
