Photography Contest "Gardens of Psary"

The Psary Commune, together with Barbara Roździeńska, the eco-manager of the project "Silesia. Bringing Back the Blue," organized a photography contest titled "Gardens of Psary" for all residents on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Commune's establishment.
The goals of the contest included involving residents in actions aimed at greater care for green areas, providing a platform to showcase the results of residents' gardening skills, and fostering interests and abilities in the field of photography. Most importantly, the contest aimed to showcase the beauty of the Psary Commune.
The contest garnered significant interest, and a large number of beautiful photographs were submitted. Each submitted photograph showcased the immense effort invested in plant and flower arrangements and undoubtedly demonstrated a passion for gardening. The contest jury unanimously decided to award prizes to five individuals. Three equally ranked first places and two honorable mentions were granted.
The laureates of the contest are: Mrs. Beata Sołtysik from Dąbie, Mrs. Ewa Wolniak from Psary, Mrs. Monika Krawczuk from Psary, Mrs. Magdalena Butyńska from Psary (commendation), and Mrs. Jolanta Kuchciak-Ucieszyńska from Góra Siewierska (commendation).
The awards will be presented during the Communal Harvest Festival, which will take place on September 3, 2023, at the LKS Iskra Psary stadium.
Selected contest entries will be showcased on September 2, 2023, at an exhibition held during the festivities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Psary Commune.
We invite you to explore a gallery of photographs featuring the most beautiful gardens of Psary.
