On the air quality during the Day of Żarnowiec

On July 23rd, on the occasion of "Żarnowiec Day," a fantastic fair took place, where an ecological stand of the eco-manager of the Żarnowiec Commune, Iwona Gębka, was also present.

Such events provide an excellent opportunity for residents to enjoy a wonderful time while also having the chance to meet with the eco-manager, who gladly offered valuable tips and advice on environmental protection. The residents could receive various pieces of advice regarding available forms of financing. Participation in the event was an essential element in encouraging more environmentally friendly choices and actions in everyday life. It was a place where the residents of Żarnowiec and the surrounding area could learn about environmentally-friendly practices they can adopt daily to collectively care for the natural environment and contribute to improving the quality of life in the Żarnowiec Commune.

During the event, not only adults found something for themselves at the eco-manager’s stand. The youngest participants had the opportunity to take part in various activities aimed at environmental education through play. The eco-manager conducted special workshops for children, where they could develop their skills and gain knowledge by solving quizzes and coloring ecological-themed coloring books.

Numerous stands with local products and cuisine encouraged tasting delicious dishes and purchasing unique souvenirs. Information points were also available, where visitors could learn more about the history and culture of Żarnowiec and local tourist attractions.

During the Days of Żarnowiec, there were also artistic performances featuring local music bands, dance groups, and soloists. The stage was filled with energy, and the audience actively supported the performers, creating a unique atmosphere of mutual joy.

All individuals who visited the eco-manager’s stand received ecological gifts and gadgets that were purchased and financed from the funds of the LIFE project "Silesia. Blue Sky Restored".
