Hug a tree in Rydułtowy!

On the initiative of Joanna Kosmala, eco-manager of the Rydułtowy Commune, one of the trees was dressed in a temporary cover. The decorations were made by ladies from the Pikotki group. They are active residents of Rydułtowy who work for the city and environmental protection. The tree was dressed in a patchwork made of white and blue crocheted squares.

In addition, decorative Easter eggs were hung on the tree. Also there is a board next to the tree with information about the impact of the nature on our health, well-being and about the project "Silesia. Blue sky restored".

A tree standing in a high-traffic area was chosen so that as many residents as possible could improve their mood.

This kind of actions are not only drawing attention to the problems related to ecology and clean air, but also they connect the local community and please the eye of the inhabitants.

Decorations are made of recycled materials, after Easter they will be used for ecological activities with children.
