On March 19, Iwona Gębka, the eco-manager of the Żarnowiec Municipality, organized an ecological theatre performance titled “Escape from the Zoo” for primary school students from the Żarnowiec area, as part of the LIFE project “Silesia. Blue Sky Restored.”

Actors from the Krakow Bureau of Cultural Promotion presented an engaging and humorous show about how to take care of our planet.
In an era of growing environmental awareness, it is crucial to educate the youngest generation in an accessible and attractive way. “Escape from the Zoo” is an ecological performance for children that tackles three key topics in an engaging manner: the problem of waste, air pollution, and the importance of renewable energy sources, including wind power.

The show clearly illustrated how everyday habits—such as waste segregation, saving energy, and using renewable sources—play an important role in protecting the environment. Thanks to its interactive format, children learn that even small changes in daily life can contribute to improving the state of our planet.

“Escape from the Zoo” is not only great entertainment, but above all, an inspiration to care for the environment from an early age. It is a performance that entertains, educates, and leaves an important message behind: the future of our planet is in our hands!
