Ecological workshops for students from Piekary Śląskie.

On 25th of November Ecomanager from Piekary Śląskie has organised ecological workshops in The Community Centrer in Piekary Śląskie for students of 1st and 2nd grade from the School and Kindergarten Complex No. 3.

At classes, combining learning with having fun together, childen have been discusing about such issues as why it is worthy to take care of environment or why the litter should be cleaned up from places intended for spending free time e.g. during the forest trip. Students were also talking about sorting the waste properly.

Children have showed their great knowledge reagrding to waste sorting by matching selective bins with waste categories, i.e.:

• yellow bins – plastic and metals e.g. aluminium cans,
• blue bins – papers,
• green bins – glass,
• brown bins – organic matrerials,
• black bins – mixed waste, not mentioned in the above categories.

In the second part of workshops students had to find the way to the selective bins and color it in matching colors. Children have handled the task very fast and almost without any mistake.

Workhops for children and teenagers are one of the numerous events organised by Ecomanagers of The Project "Silesia. Blue Sky Restored".
