On June 1, 2023, the celebration of Children's Day took place at Dąbrowa Estate in Krzepice.

The event was organized by Mr. Rafał Balcerzak, a Councilor of the Krzepice City Council.

Among the numerous attractions for children, there was also a stand for Eco-manager, and for adults, a consultation and information point for the Clean Air program.

Joanna Grzyb, an Eco-manager of the Krzepice Municipality, along with Beata Wójciów, led workshops for children on painting ecological bags.

During this time, adults had the opportunity to discuss the exchange of heat sources and the principles of accessing funding.

The Mayor of Krzepice, Mr. Krystian Kotynia, was present at the stand, supporting children in creating ecological motifs on the bags.

The finale of the eco-action was the announcement of the eco-bag competition. Out of approximately 100 bags created during the workshops, 31 children participated in the competition.

Here are the inscriptions that were featured on the eco-bags:

  • "Better to have one than 100 plastic bags."
  • "Protecting the environment is preserving the health of bees."
  • "Let's take care of the planet, please."
  • "Love children, don't litter."
  • "Don't pollute the world."
  • "Be eco, take care of the planet."
  • "Be eco! Save the planet!"

The children's creativity exceeded the expectations of the organizers. The works were of such a high standard that the jury, consisting of Ms. Kamila Jarząb, Ms. Magdalena Zalewska, and Mr. Rafał Balcerzak, decided that everyone was a winner.

The children received ecological games, puzzles, books, notebooks, and pens.
