Eco-Picnic "Under the Blue Sky of Krzepice"
The family eco-picnic "Under the Blue Sky of Krzepice" ended with great success and will be remembered by all participants for a long time! On August 10th, the Dąbrowa Housing Estate in Krzepice transformed into a center of ecological fun, attracting entire families to a unique event that lasted. A day full of attractions, education, and fantastic entertainment gathered many residents who actively participated in the surprises prepared for them.
One of the main highlights of the program was the outdoor play "The Great Adventure of the Little Cloud," prepared by the Krakow Promotion Office. This eco-friendly children's theater was a hit! The young audience watched with bated breath as Little Cloud and Hedgehog Jerzyk embarked on a fascinating journey on Earth, discovering the secrets of environmental protection. The play not only entertained but also educated, conveying important values related to caring for our planet in an accessible way. The interactive nature of the performance allowed the children to actively participate in the show, further enhancing its appeal.
Equally exciting was the mobile experimental laboratory led by Cezary Olchawa. His chemical demonstrations literally ignited the participants' imaginations! The experiments, full of colors, flashes, and special effects, drew crowds of curious onlookers. Each demonstration was not only a spectacle but also an opportunity for learning – you could see firsthand how science becomes a fascinating adventure. It was a true highlight of the picnic that warmed the atmosphere both literally and figuratively!
Children also had the chance to let off steam on the inflatables, which were extremely popular. Jumping, sliding, and laughter were the order of the day, while parents could relax in the fresh air, watching their children play to their heart's content. Fantastic entertainment was also provided by the movement animations prepared by the indispensable AleeFrajda team. Giant soap bubbles, races, and movement games attracted many children, who joyfully participated in every activity. Tug-of-war, races, and other games ensured plenty of exercise and laughter, with boredom being strictly off-limits!
The picnic was also a perfect opportunity to talk with Joanna Grzyb, an eco-manager for the "Silesia. Blue Sky Restored" project. At a specially prepared booth, residents could receive valuable advice on building thermomodernization, heating source replacement, and other solutions that improve the economy and comfort of living. Additionally, the eco-manager provided information on available funding sources for these investments, which attracted considerable interest from residents. It was not only a chance for fun but also an opportunity to gain knowledge that could bring real benefits in everyday life.
The event was also attended by important guests, including the Mayor of Krzepice, Mateusz Kluba, and the Chairman of the City Council, Rafał Balcerzak. Their presence highlighted the importance of such initiatives for the local community. We sincerely thank them for their support and hospitality, which contributed to the exceptional atmosphere of the day.
The successful event was organized by the Silesian Voivodeship as part of the LIFE project "Silesia. Blue Sky Restored." The event was overseen by Joanna Grzyb, the eco-manager for the Krzepice Municipality, and Jakub Drabik from Aplan Media agency, who made every effort to ensure the picnic went smoothly and without any issues.
In summary, the Family Eco-Picnic in Krzepice was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with family, have fun outdoors, and gain valuable information about environmental protection.
