„Dumpling Festival” with an Ecological Twist in the Kroczyce Commune

On September 14th, the annual "Dumpling Festival" took place at the Amphitheater in Kroczyce, this time combined with a unique ecological event called "Eco-Mania." Organized as part of this year's Juromania, the event attracted crowds of residents and tourists, who had the opportunity not only to enjoy a fairytale atmosphere but also to delve into the intricacies of environmental protection.

Once again, the Kroczyce Commune became a hub of ecological inspiration, a place where ecological education blends with fun and tradition. This unique event, combining elements of folklore, culture, and environmental education, provided an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge about environmental protection and available forms of support for eco-projects.

One of the key highlights of the program was the presence of an information and education booth run by the municipal Eco-Manager. Here, residents had the chance to gather valuable information about available grants, funding, and other forms of financial support for projects related to environmental protection.

The Eco-Manager offered individual consultations, helping participants choose the most suitable forms of support. He answered questions, explained complex procedures, and provided guidance on how to secure funding for ecological initiatives. This booth became a true treasure trove for all those wanting to learn more about the available financial support for pro-environmental activities.

"Eco-Mania" also offered plenty of attractions for the youngest participants. Children had the chance to participate in various educational activities led by the Eco-Manager. Specially prepared workshops, including crossword puzzles, quizzes, and coloring pages with ecological themes, allowed children to gain knowledge in a fun and engaging way.

Special gifts and gadgets, purchased and funded by the LIFE project "Silesia. Blue Sky Restored," were prepared for the most engaged and creative participants. These small rewards were not only souvenirs from the event but also motivation to further explore ecological topics.

This year's "Eco-Mania" during Juromania in the Kroczyce Commune proved to be a unique combination of tradition, education, and ecology. The event not only entertained but, more importantly, educated and inspired actions for environmental protection. Thanks to the involvement of residents, tourists, and the support of the municipal Eco-Manager, the "Dumpling Festival" in Kroczyce became not just a celebration of local tradition but also a festival of ecology and sustainable development.
