Cleaning up the World with Preschoolers in Kroczyce Commune

A wonderful “Clean Up the World” campaign took place at the Preschool in Siamoszyce. The event was actively supported by the eco-manager of the Kroczyce Commune, Aneta Szczechla, who leads activities aimed at environmental protection and ecological education for the commune’s residents.

Before the clean-up began, the eco-manager met with the children and gave a short talk about caring for nature. The preschoolers learned how important waste segregation is, why littering in forests or playgrounds is harmful, and how each person can contribute to protecting our planet.

Equipped with gloves and bags, the youngest participants, together with their teachers and the eco-manager, set out to clean the preschool grounds and nearby paths. The joint effort quickly brought results – the children eagerly collected rubbish, showing that keeping our surroundings clean is worth doing every day.

Taking part in such initiatives is an important lesson in responsibility and in shaping ecological attitudes. Building good habits from an early age helps ensure that, in the future, children will be more conscious and caring towards the environment.

At the end of the event, the children received small gifts and eco-themed coloring books, but most importantly – great satisfaction from a task well done.

Thanks to the involvement of the preschoolers and the support of the Kroczyce eco-manager, Siamoszyce became cleaner, and the youngest residents of the commune discovered that caring for the environment is both a shared responsibility and a source of joy.
