Clean Air Day in Kalety

In connection with the Clean Air Day on November 14th, students from Public Primary School No. 1 named after Adam Mickiewicz in Kalety had the opportunity to participate in activities led by eco-manager Sandra Świętek on air-related issues. This was not the first time the eco-manager visited the students.

During the meeting, the eco-manager provided the children with many interesting and valuable pieces of information about the air. She explained that it plays an extremely important role. To illustrate this, she conducted various experiments, allowing the children to check for themselves whether the air exists, whether it has a smell, whether it can be caught, and, consequently, presented the crucial role of air for our bodies.

The children had the opportunity to create their own respiratory model, which enabled them to observe what happens when we inhale and exhale both clean and polluted air. Of course, there was also a discussion of the types and effects of pollutants on our bodies. The children handled this topic excellently!

At the end of the session, the students received small gadgets provided as part of the LIFE Project. "Silesia. Blue Sky Restored."
